Mechanical disc brakes from Tektro with 160 mm rotors. Double-walled aluminum wheels with stainless steel spokes. Wheels are quick-release. 27.5x2" tires with a tread pattern suitable for both light off-road terrain as well as flat surfaces and asphalt.

The tire tread also makes it more suitable for asphalt and gravel, but it works if you want to ride on easier forest trails as well.
